Eric Mayer

Eric Mayer has an MS and PhD in Evironmental Fluid Mechanics and Hydrology (Civil and Evironmental Engineering) from Stanford. He now lives in Sonoma working for a biochar company. Eric has fond memories of being kept company by a herd of Tule Elk while back packing in Point Reyes National Seashore.

George Wuerthner

George Wuerthner is an ecologist who has been studying predators and public land management for four decades. He is the former directore of Foundation for Deep Ecology and is currently the executive director of Public Lands Media, which publishes The Wildlife News. George is the author of 38 books on environmental issues and natural history including “Welfare Ranching: The Subsidized Destruction of the American West.”

 

George received the Grassroots Activist of the Year Award in 2017 from the Fund for Wild Animals.
